Korean women's soccer ace So-yeon Ji has finished playing in Chelsea, England and is entering the domestic WK League.



The Chelsea club have announced that Ji So-yeon will leave her team and return to Korea at the end of this season.



Ji So-yeon said she decided to go to the WK League after much deliberation, and she said goodbye to Chelsea fans in tears.

Ji So-yeon, who became the first Korean female player to play in the UK in 2014, won the Player of the Year award with her debut, leading her career to 68 goals and 45 assists to 11 championships.

So-yeon Ji will play her league two matches and the FA Cup final before returning to her country next month.
