It took three years for their fight to succeed.

In a press release, the Ultra Boys 90, the flagship group of Racing Club de Strasbourg supporters, announced that "the IAS (administrative stadium bans)" pronounced after the Nîmes-Strasbourg match on March 16, 2019 "have all been canceled".

As a reminder, 44 supporters, "chosen by chance from among the hundred present" specifies the press release, had been struck by these IAS for not having respected the prefectural decree issued three days before the meeting which prohibited them in particular from circulating in the Nîmes station area.

“The sentences have been served and the damage is done”

Consequence: they had to make a compulsory check-in at the police station every day of an away match for three months, excluding the European Cup.

In response, the UB90 had “decided, through the lawyer of the National Association of supporters” of which the group is a member “to attack these IAS in justice”.

The decision of the administrative court was “notified at the end of last year” to the UB90 who also specified that they had “obtained the damages claimed” following the procedure.

A victory with a bitter taste for the "UB", because the group deplores that "the sentences have been served and the damage is done": "This proves that the prefectural orders are too often unfounded [...] and that freedom is regularly hampered under cover of senseless and absurd arguments.

The UB90s will be forty this Sunday (3 p.m.) in Lorient to support Racing in its race for Europe.
