Hostile reception for Real Madrid upon arrival at San Mamés for the Copa del Rey quarter-final match against Athtletic.
Numerous bottles and other objects were thrown at the bus that was taking Carlo Ancelotti's squad to the stadium, which ended up breaking one of the vehicle's windows.
The crowd of supporters who were behind the security cordon guarded by the Ertzaintza unleashed all their anger as the white team's bus passed: shouts, insults and the throwing of glasses and bottles.
In some Twitter videos you could see how one of the windows of the bus ended up shattered before heading for the entrance to the San Mamés stadium.
The incidents occurred despite the fact that a massive concentration of fans was called off in the previous days to go to the vicinity of the stadium upon the arrival of the teams.
However, thousands of people gradually gathered for the reception, which heated up as the minutes passed.
Athletic Club arrived first, at around 8:00 p.m., with shouts of support and a few flares, but five minutes later it was Real Madrid that was greeted with insults, bottle blows and objects being thrown.
