The African qualifications for the 2023 World Cup, which will be held in France, will take place in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, from July 1 to 10, 2022, the organizers of the Rugby World Cup announced on Tuesday.
“The eight best nations of the African continent will face each other in the south of France, in the form of a knockout tournament.
The team that wins the Rugby Africa Cup 2022 will qualify for the Rugby World Cup 2023 (September 8-October 28), ”they explain in a press release.

Namibia-Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe-Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal-Algeria and Uganda-Kenya are the posters for the quarter-finals of this tournament, including the winner of qualification for the World Cup, for which South Africa is already qualified, in as reigning world champion.
The winner will be transferred to Pool A, with the XV of France, New Zealand, Italy and Uruguay.
The Pierre-Delort stadium (Marseille) and the Maurice-David stadium (Aix-en-Provence) will host the competition, divided into quarters, semis and finals.
