Semenenko replaced Kolyada in the Russian national figure skating team at the 2022 Olympics

This was reported on the website of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).

Thus, Mark Kondratyuk, Andrey Mozalev and Semenenko will represent Russia in men's singles.

Kolyada won silver at the national championship in December, but withdrew from the January European championship due to injury. 

The Beijing Olympic Games will be held from 4 to 20 February 2022.

Earlier, the head of the FFKKR expressed doubt that any of the skaters would be entrusted with the role of standard bearer at the opening of the Olympic Games.
