Sofia Jakobsson left Real Madrid and was presented by Bayern Munich this summer.
But in the German top club, it has been sparse with playing time for the national team striker.
After playing in eleven competitive matches and being noted for a goal, the 31-year-old now chooses to break the contract, which was written over two years.
According to sports director Bianca Rech, Jakobsson announced as early as December that she wanted to leave.
