Aleksander Aamodt Kilde from Norway got to the top of the podium.

The World Cup victory is the Norwegian's second this season.

He showed great form and stood for an impressive ride.

Marco Odermatt was second, 19 percent behind the winner, and his compatriot Beat Feuz was third.

Odermatt also finished second at the World Cup competition in Bormio, when Dominik Paris, today in ninth place, won.

The superb Odermatt leads the overall Alpine World Cup by far.

Today's victory means that Kilde now leads the overall World Cup in downhill.

In second place is the Austrian Matthias Mayer and third is Paris.
