It was two strong teams that clashed in Norrköping.

The league-leading home team had seven straight victories in the bag, while visiting table three Luleå had eight ditto before the match.

The guests' latest loss came at the end of November against Norrköping, and tonight they did not manage to break the league leader.

Norrköping connected the grip on the match early and led 35-19 after the first period.

Luleå rose slightly in the offensive in the second period but also dropped to much backwards, which meant that Norrköping could go to the break with a lead of 14 points.

- Not at all a good first half of us.

We concede 65 points in a half and we have to step up really defensively, stated Luleå's Jonatan Arvidsson in SBL's broadcast.

Luleå opened stronger in the second half but the distance was too great.

In the last period, Norrköping pulled away further and was finally able to win 113-95, much thanks to the American Brandon Tabb, who accounted for 32 points.
