The Swedish Olympic jump in freeskiing, Henrik Harlaut, is over this weekend's Olympic genre rope in French Font Romeu. The 30-year-old crashed during a training session before the competition and has injured his neck. "There is no danger, but he has been given a neck brace, so he can not move his neck," writes national team captain Niklas Eriksson in a text message to DN.
There will also be no X-games for Harlaut.
The crash was so bad that the helmet cracked, but the Olympics should not be in danger.
"We tried to massage it this morning, but it did not help.
He tried to run the training this morning, but it did not work.
Really tough.
But there is no danger for the Olympics ", writes Eriksson.
