On January 14, the Beijing traffic control department released the temporary management measures for social traffic during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics. Wu Shijiang, member of the party group and deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, introduced that the current tail number restriction measures are valid until 2022. On April 3, 2018, the entire Winter Olympics transportation service guarantee period has been covered, and this measure will be implemented as usual during the Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics.
Wu Shijiang said that the 2022 Spring Festival holiday arrangements have been announced, and work will be on January 29 (the 27th of the twelfth lunar month) and January 30 (the 28th of the twelfth lunar month).
We have analyzed the traffic conditions on working days on short and long vacations in the past. Since there are no restrictions on traffic, the traffic congestion is significantly higher than on work days with limited traffic. At that time, the Olympic lane has been opened, and the traffic conditions in the city are not optimistic.
Therefore, we propose that the tail number restriction measures still need to be implemented in these two days.
Since the holiday is on the third and fourth day of the first lunar month, which corresponds to Thursday and Friday, January 29 (Saturday) is limited to the last number 2 and 7 on Thursday, and January 30 (Sunday) is based on Friday. Limit line endings 3 and 8.
