Six new members, including Junta Kosuda, a snowboarder who participated in the Tokyo Paralympics on land last year, have been appointed as the representatives of Japan for the Beijing Paralympics to be held in March.

On the 12th, the Japan Ski Association for the Disabled announced that a total of six people, including snowboarders and alpine skiers, who met the selection criteria for this season's World Cup results, have been nominated as representatives of Japan for the Beijing Paralympics.

All three are the first representatives of the Winter Paralympics, but Kosuda participated in the Tokyo Paralympics for the first time on land last summer, and will participate in the Paralympics twice in half a year.



In the alpine skiing, three people in the standing and skiing class have been nominated as representatives.


▽ 39-year-old Taketa Koike will be the representative of the fifth consecutive tournament since the 2006 Turin tournament.


▽ 25-year-old Anmi Hondo


has been appointed as the first representative at the age of 48.



There have already been 17 unofficial appointments for the Beijing Paralympic Japan national team, including Momoka Muraoka, who is aiming to win the gold medal for the second consecutive tournament, bringing the total to 23.
