Football fans around the world have celebrated a dead Chilean footballer who was arranged by his teammates to score a goal from his coffin before his funeral in honor of his incredible goal-scoring talent.

Jaime Iskandar passed away in the closing days of 2021, but his friends in the Chilean "Aparicion de Payne" team wanted to celebrate the life of the leading striker.

They put his coffin in the penalty area and his teammate hit the ball in the coffin to bounce into the goal, amid the cheers of dozens of enthusiastic fans for this last goal in the life of the late player.

Felipe Orellana, who filmed the clip, said, "This man behind our unit... This is the legacy this man left... We didn't think (the video) would spread like this all over the world because he was an ordinary man."

"It's a completely different goal... which was celebrated with tears," Aparicion club said on Facebook, adding that the striker "celebrated from heaven with all his soul."

"Your legacy will be forever," he said.
