Bayern Munich president clarifies the "Bavarian" position on contracting Haaland

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer confirmed that his club does not want to sign the Norwegian international striker, Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland, expressing his hope that his Polish striker Robert Lewandowski will continue in his ranks until the end of his career.

Hainer told the German "Sport1" network that the Bavarian club will not seek to sign Haaland, "because we have Robert Lewandowski," who is linked with his team until 2023, referring to club officials who told the latter several times that he "has a high position in them."

Haaland, who has been flocked to by the most prominent European clubs after his remarkable brilliance in the ranks of Dortmund, where he scored 76 goals in 75 games in various competitions, is linked with his current team until the end of 2024, but his contract includes a penalty clause through which he can leave at the end of the current season for 80 million euros.

The Norwegian striker's business manager, Mino Raiola, had hinted at the possibility of his client leaving at the end of the current season, and talked about four clubs he could land in, namely Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona, the Spanish.

Lewandowski is the top scorer in the German league with 19 goals and has scored 324 goals in 354 games he played in Bayern Munich's colors since he moved to it from Dortmund in particular in 2014.
