Last season, the teams met in the final match and then Villa Lidköping won - this time AIK got revenge.

But the match started badly for AIK.

Villa Lidköping took the lead after 23 minutes through Joel Broberg who scored his sixth goal of the season.

With burnt chances from both teams, it then looked like AIK could keep out the half.

But with just under 1.20 left to play, Johan Löfstedt shoots and it is 2-0.

The home team went on a cold shower and went out for a break in a two-goal deficit.

Turned and won

In the second half, Teemu Määttä takes AIK back in the match when he put the return after a corner and reduced to 1-2.

The equalizer came when the home team's Isac Karlsson put 2-2 - again this time in connection with a corner.

Just minutes later, a penalty was awarded to AIK and Karlsson got the chance again - and took it.

AIK had thus turned a two-goal deficit into a 3-2 lead.

In the 88th minute, Erik Pettersson stepped forward and secured two points for the home team by putting 4-2.

First loss

The home team's victory means that Villa Lidköping went on their first loss of the season.

They came into the match undefeated and as league runners-up, two points behind Edsbyn.

It was the team's first meeting in the Elite Series for this season.
