Ahmed Hegazy makes a vow in front of the Egyptian fans before facing Qatar
Egypt national team defender Ahmed Hegazy revealed that he and his colleagues pledged to win and provide an outstanding performance when facing Qatar, Saturday (14:00 UAE time, 12:00 Egypt time), in the match for third place in the Arab Cup held in Doha, whose title was limited to between Algeria and Tunisia national teams.
Hegazy said in the press conference before the match: "Young players have a desire to learn and appear better, in addition to being distinguished, and we tried to bring them into the atmosphere of the tournament, and Queiroz was always keen to collect all the players to transfer experiences from adults to young people."
He added, "The Arab Cup was an opportunity for them and the young players were ready to play in the Egyptian national team shirt at any time, in addition to being an opportunity to appear before the Egyptian public here in Qatar."
Regarding his readiness for the match, he said: "I am 100% healthy and participated in 4 matches of the tournament, and the participation gave us more international experiences, as well as an opportunity for young people to gain experiences and they showed a great effort during the competition."
