Xavi Hernandez expressed great happiness about his return to the Spanish football club Barcelona to take over the training of the first team, commenting: "I will return to the club of my life."

He added: "I have no words to describe my feelings of once again defending this shield that is sealed on my heart, feeling again the Camp Nou vibrating and hearing again the cheers of encouragement from these great fans."

Barcelona officially announced early on Saturday morning the contract with Xavi to coach the team for the remainder of the current season and for the next two seasons.
This came after the Qatari club Al Sadd announced yesterday, Friday, the approval of the transfer of Xavi to coach Barcelona.
Xavi is expected to arrive in Barcelona to be officially presented to the media on Monday at the Camp Nou, according to what Barcelona explained on its website.
