On Friday, Sweden defeated Montenegro 3-1, thus collecting the second straight victory and they still took over the table lead.

In the meeting with Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is still chasing its first qualifying victory, Benjamin Nygren gave Blågult the lead with his first goal in the U21 context.

The 20-year-old, in Heerenveen in the Netherlands on a daily basis, took advantage of an unsuccessful clearance and put 1-0 in extra time in the first half.

But 20 minutes into the second half came the home team's equalizer.

Mjällby loaner Samuel Brolin misjudged a piece of equipment and tore down a free-kicking Anes Masic.

The referee had no doubts and he gave a penalty in favor of Brolin.

Masic took care of the penalty himself, placing 1-1.

After the goal, it was Bosnia-Herzegovina that was closest to a winning goal.

Next came Milan Savic, who scored the crossbar in the 77th minute.

The qualifier ended equally.

Despite the points loss, Sweden still tops the group, two points ahead of Montenegro.

During the next national team gathering, Blågult will meet Montenegro and Italy, 8 and 12 October respectively.
