It was a swinging first set where Sweden opened strongest.

The Swedes went up to a 6-2 lead before Romania worked their way into the match.

But even halfway into this first set, it was the Swedish lead, 10-5.

Romania then served better and came back into an even set.

10-5 became 11-10 to Sweden and the team was followed all the way up to a decision.

At the position 21-21, Sweden stood for a strong finish and closed the first set when they went up to win, 25-21.

- If you look at the statistics between the teams, the numbers are quite similar.

Sweden got more mistakes from Romania and it was grateful that it came here at the end but I think we can expect an even match, says SVT's expert, Andréa Jacobsson.

Hook best score

Jacobsson would be right in his analysis.

The team was followed in the second set as well.

First up to a slightly larger lead was Sweden when they had 12-8 and later also 15-11.

Sweden finally also won this second set after the numbers were written to 25-17.

The best score in the Swedish team was unsurprisingly the team's big world star, Isabelle Haak.

After two sets played, she had accounted for 16 points.

Stable Swedish victory

Also in the third set, Sweden started best and led with three balls at 4-1 and later 10-7.

Sweden later went up to 20-14, among other things after two heavy serveess in a row from Isabelle Haak.

Romania was always one step behind and when this match is summed up and Sweden also won the match's third set by 25-16, it was a clear fair blue-yellow victory.

The set numbers were written to 25-21, 25-17, 25-16.

- This is outclassing.

They outclass a team in 15th place in the European rankings and the way they do it.

They are incredibly professional in the way they enter this match, says expert Jacobsson.

"Played really well"

After sister Isabelle, Anna Haak was the strongest scorer for Sweden with her 15 points (Isabelle stayed at 22).

- We expected a really tough match as Romania is a strong and good team.

But we continue to play as we did against Finland and played really well, says Anna Haak in the TV interview afterwards.

Next, Sweden will face Turkey already on Sunday.

SVT broadcasts the match which starts at 16.30.
