In the Olympic Village in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, about three weeks before the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, the Metropolitan Police Department searched all over the site with about 1,000 people for the actual performance and checked for suspicious objects. ..

The Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics are held at 43 competition venues, mainly in Tokyo, and police officers and private security guards are on the largest scale ever to guard the venue and its surroundings.

The Metropolitan Police Department has decided to further strengthen the security of each venue for the actual performance, and in the Olympic Village in Harumi, Chuo-ku, MTF members and others searched all over the site with a posture of about 1000 people.

Among them, suspicious objects such as explosives and other scents can be used to look around the building and security checkpoints, or to rope down from the roof of a 17-story accommodation facility. I was checking carefully for any such things.

According to the Games Organizing Committee, such security is called "sweep security" which means "cleaning" in English, and after this, the venue will be changed to 24-hour security, except for those who have the ID card of the competition. Means that entry is prohibited.

The Metropolitan Police Department and the Organizing Committee hope to complete "sweep security" at all venues and prepare for the production.
