Italy breaks the world record for net cleanliness

The Italian national team broke its previous record, led by goalkeeper Dino Zoff, who kept a clean sheet for 1,143 minutes between 1972 and 1974.

And the Italian team succeeded in breaking this record after a goalless draw during the original time of its match against Austria in the round of 16 of the European Nations Cup, and the match was extended for extra time.

The Azzurri entered their match against Austria at Wimbledon without conceding goals in 1055 minutes, and therefore needed another 88 minutes to break the record of the previous generation of the team led by goalkeeper Zoff.
