Didier Deschamps confirmed the withdrawal of Lucas Digne, injured against Portugal, for the round of 16 against Switzerland.

The other left side of the Blues, Lucas Hernandez, will however be restored and could hold his place as holder.

The coach of the France team Didier Deschamps on Sunday confirmed the withdrawal of Lucas Digne and Marcus Thuram on Monday (9 p.m.) in the round of 16 of the Euro against Switzerland, announcing that Jules Koundé was for his part uncertain unlike Lucas Hernandez, recovered. "Lucas Digne, Marcus Thuram and probably Jules Koundé will not be available, on the other hand it will be the case of Lucas Hernandez", declared the boss of the French world champions, on the eve of the decisive meeting in Bucharest.

Digne suffered a muscle injury to a thigh against Portugal (2-2) at the end of the group stage, a match in which Koundé took a blow. Hernandez was also out in the Seleçao clash, after lingering knee discomfort. Marcus Thuram injured his thigh on Thursday in training.
