Jack Hermansson had a tough first round where Shahbazyan went hard with blows, but to the second there was a change of scene.

The Swede got his opponent down on the mat early and started hitting.

About the same thing happened in the third round and then it was clear that Hermansson would get the victory.

- I did not find the timing at the start.

I felt like a beginner.

But I dug deep and used my skills to my advantage, Hermansson said in the interview after the match.

The 32-year-old Hermansson most recently came from a loss against the Italian Marvin Vettori, but at tonight's gala in Las Vegas, the Swede, who is fighting in the middleweight class, bounced back.

The loss was Shahbazyan's second in his professional career and Hermansson now has 21 victories out of 27 possible.

The match was originally supposed to have been a week earlier, but was postponed due to the Swede suffering from covid-19.
