It was a second battle between Elfyn Evans and Spain's Dani Sordo.

In Italy last season, Evans had everything under control, but due to snow, he drove off the road.

And that mistake cost him the victory.

But today it went the way.

The fourth victory of his career

Evans took his first career victory in 2017, and today's win was his fourth.

- We were not the fastest, but we made no mistakes.

It feels good, and it came at a good time, Evans says in the broadcast.

There were two podium places for the Toyota stable where the reigning world champion and World Cup leader Sebastien Ogier finished in third place.

Oliver Solberg's problem with the engine unfortunately cost him a podium place in the WRC2 class, where he finished fourth. He finished eleventh in total in Portugal's World Cup competition.
