It was the away team Barcelona who took the lead in the match.

Jennifer Hermoso met a post with the forehead and nodded nicely in 1-0 in front of an outspoken PSG goalkeeper.

But it did not take long before the receipt would arrive.

In the 21st minute of the match, PSG got a corner that defender Alana Cook nodded in from close range.

PSG were then close to taking the lead just before half-time but PSG striker Katoto's finish hit the inside of the post and the first half ended in a draw.

Even half

The second half was much smoother when both teams chased a lead goal.

The Barcelona players called for a penalty after a hand situation but the referee chose to release.

In the ensuing corner, a dangerous conclusion was reached, but PSG were able to get the ball away.

Towards the end of the match, both teams became more cautious and no really hot goal chances were created.

The match ended 1-1 and it is now completely open before the return match which is played on the second of May.
