Just over two days after Tiger Woods' serious car crash, the golf star has been moved from the hospital in Los Angeles where he was operated on for a broken ankle, bone fracture and crush injuries. "Woods has moved to Cedars-Sinai's medical center to continue his orthopedic care and rehabilitation," said Anish Mahajan, acting CEO of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where Woods has previously received care, in a statement on Twitter.
Mahajan further says that he feels humbled by the fact that he got to work with Woods.
- It was an honor to provide orthopedic emergency care to one of our generation's greatest athletes.
It was Tuesday night Swedish time, early in the morning in the US state of California, that 45-year-old Tiger Woods crashed his car in the coastal area of Rancho Palos Verdes, south of LA. The 15-time major winner sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
