Milestone for Connor McDavid - fast to 500 NHL points

Only seven players have reached 500 NHL points faster than McDavid.

The fastest was Wayne Gretzky who only needed 234 games.

Best Swede is Kent Nilsson who needed 372 games, three more than McDavid.

Edmonton beat Winnipeg 3-2 at home last night and McDavid served Jesse Puljujärvi to 1-0 just under four minutes into the match and was also noted for an assist a little later in the match to Leon Draisaitls 3-1.

Draisaitl scored two goals.
