Egypt obtains the television broadcast rights for the World Handball Championship

The Egyptian Handball Federation announced today, Monday, that Egypt has obtained the television rights for the World Handball Championship, which will start in Cairo on January 13 with the participation of 32 countries.

Hisham Nasr, President of the Egyptian Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the World Handball Championship, said in statements to the Media Center of the tournament that Egypt will become an example for the world in how to organize sporting events and events in light of the Corona pandemic crisis.

Nasr added that all new construction for the halls that host the tournament matches has been completed in record time, and strict health procedures will be applied to close the hotels in which the missions will be held and to limit the presence in them to the workers in the tournament and the missions only, indicating that until now the public is allowed to attend Matches by 30%.

He said that the television broadcast rights for the tournament have been purchased in the Middle East, and the matches will be broadcast on OnSport.
