The Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, after consulting with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), decided to cancel the tenth edition of the “Longines” five-star show jumping, which was scheduled in Abu Dhabi from 20 to 23 January 2021. The Secretary-General of the Federation, Ghanem Al-Hajri, said that the effects of the global epidemic, the lack of time to prepare for the tournament, and the readiness of riders and horses amid these complex conditions, are the main reason for the cancellation.

He said: Travel restrictions will make it difficult for participants to attend, which means that we will not be able to hold an event we have been organizing in the most wonderful way.
