For Leon Goretzka, 25, the year 2020 was truly extraordinary.

With FC Bayern, the 29-time German national player won the triple of championship, cup and Champions League in the summer.

During the first lockdown in March, he and his teammate Joshua Kimmich initiated the “We kick Corona” initiative and have so far collected over five million euros for those affected.

And then there was another appointment that was particularly dear to his heart.
