Aston Villa captain deprived of driving for nine months due to collision

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish was banned from driving for a period of nine months and fined more than 80,000 pounds (106,000 dollars) after a collision with his car during the lockdown period in Britain in light of the emerging Corona virus pandemic.

According to the Press Association news agency, witnesses said during a hearing in a Birmingham court that Greelish, 25, smelled of "intoxicating liquor" and was uttering unclear words after the March 29 collision.

Last November, Grealish pleaded guilty to two counts of driving, including colliding with his Range Rover with two other cars that were parked in Solihull in the West Midlands.

The other charge related to Grealish driving more than 90 miles per hour on a road on October 18.

Grealish is supposed to pay the fine imposed on him within seven days, and he must apply for a driver's license after the ban period expires.
