A German team enters quarantine with all its members

The German football club Hoffenheim announced that the entire team has been quarantined until further notice, due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, with new positive test results today, Wednesday.

Corona was hit by midfielder Sebastian Ruddy, striker Isaac Belfodil and a member of the technical staff.

Another examination was performed but it showed inconclusive results and had to be repeated.

Indeed, at the weekend, Jacob Brun Larsen and one of the employees were dismissed, while the Dane, Robert Skov, and the Israeli, Moanis Dabour, were infected with Corona, while they were with their national team during the international suspension.

"We cannot explain the reason for the increase in numbers here," said Alexander Rosen, the club's sporting director.

He added: "For months, we have meticulously and conscientiously adhered to the rules of hygiene and safety, so we have succeeded in overcoming the epidemic without a single positive case for several months, and now we are exposed to it severely."

After the previous international stop in October, both Croatian Andrea Kramaric and Ghanaian Kasim Adams were infected with the Corona virus upon their return to the team.

Pavel Kadirbek, the team's player, was forced to isolate himself due to a condition within his family, and the three players are now able to return to training.
