Gothenburg FC can for the first time ever call themselves Swedish champions.

A victory was required away against Linköping - and there was never any talk about it.

They set the highest speed from the beginning and Linköping had problems getting through the high pressure.

After eleven minutes, the team's shooting queen, Pauline Hammarlund, stayed ahead and made it 1-0.

After 30 minutes of play, Filippa Angeldahl broke the ball in the offensive half and after a fine collaboration with Rebecka Blomqvist, she was able to put 2-0.

A result that stood after 45 minutes.

Gothenburg did not slow down in the second half.

In the 50th minute, Vilde Böe Risa scored his first goal of the evening.

Seven minutes later came the second and 4-0 for Gothenburg and a relief for the Gothenburg players.

But it did not end there.

In the 59th minute, Natalia Kuikka made it 5-0.

Then it ran away.

6-0 came through incoming Emma Koivisto and Stina Blackstenius then made it 7-0 with ten minutes left.

Blackstenius, who left Linköping for Gothenburg before the season, started on the bench and was replaced with twenty minutes left.

After the goal, it was a quiet celebration on her part.

A historic gold for Gothenburg, which also took its biggest victory of the season.
