To wait, we have concocted this little portrait of the new terror of the circuit.

Everything there is to know is here.

2.15pm: Hi everyone, in an hour the ladies final will start at Roland.

We can't wait to see if Kenin will be able to withstand the Swiatek tornado.

To say that she crushed everyone in her path would be almost an understatement.

The world of tennis discovered in this fortnight Iga Swiatek, a young Polish 19-year-old, a sort of new patron of the circuit.

We are going a little quickly, no doubt, but the ease with which she beat Vondrousova in the first round (finalist last year), Simona Halep in the eighth (world No. 1) and all the others dazed us a bit.

The hardest thing to do remains: winning the title.

It will not be easy against the other new star of the circuit, the American Sofia Kenin.

Victorious of the Australian Open earlier this year, she will play her second Grand Slam final in a year, at only 21 years old.

>> This promises us a very nice final, for which we will meet again around 2:45 p.m.
