Tennis on "break" during confinement

At 19, Iga Swiatek impresses as much by her youth as by the maturity she exudes.

She didn't appear to be in trouble at any point in the tournament, or even stressed out by the stakes.

Maybe because for her, tennis is not an end in itself: during confinement, for example, she simply stopped training and took the opportunity to prepare and pass her high school exams.

If tennis does not represent his whole life, the prospect of playing a final does give him chills. "It seems unreal, it's surprising to me because I didn't think I would end up there," she says. to Europe 1. "It's crazy. I've never stopped believing in myself and it's a dream come true. I'm a little upset."

A trophy promised to the young generation

In front of her stands a player hardly more experienced: Sofia Kenning, 21, winner of the Australian Open at the beginning of the year.

One thing is therefore certain among women, this Roland-Garros 2020 will belong to the young generation.
