This is the youngest Grand Slam women's singles final since the 2008 Australian Open.

  This is the fourth seed Kenning this season and the second time in her career that she has reached the Grand Slam finals. She has never reached the WTA clay court quarterfinals before, and now she will attack the French Open.

  Swatek was the first Polish female player to enter the French Open in the Open, and the second Polish female player to enter the Grand Slam final.
