And glo and glo and glo the competition.

A week to make you fall backwards… In a few days, the immense Arnaud Démare has put an option on stage victories at the Giro.

The French champion has indeed once again won the sprint on Friday in Brindisi, where he won the 7th stage of the Giro completed at more than 50 km / h on average.

Démare was clearly ahead of the Slovakian Peter Sagan and the Australian Michael Matthews in this stage without consequences for the general classification still led by the Portuguese Joao Almeida (Deceuninck).

We miss superlatives.

The Groupama-FDJ sprinter achieved his 13th success of the season, the highest total among the WorldTour riders this year.

Démare had already won Tuesday at Villafranca Tirrena, by a very small margin, then much more widely, Thursday at Matera, in an uphill sprint.
