A search in the offices of the German Confederation due to suspicion of tax evasion

Prosecutors announced in the German city of Frankfurt today that the offices of the German Football Association and the homes of a number of its officials have been searched, following suspicion of tax evasion.

And the authorities indicated that about 200 police officers participated in the inspection of the offices of the German Federation in Frankfurt and five German states.

The case related to the proceeds of a billboard during the German national team's home matches in 2014 and 2015.
