15 cases of Corona virus were discovered among the Algerian league players

Yesterday, a member of the medical committee of the Algerian Professional Football League revealed that there have been 15 positive cases of Corona virus among club players since they returned to training last month.

Dr. Mohamed Bichari said, in a statement to the Algerian state radio, that 13 injuries were detected among the players of the first teams, including 4 new cases in the club, Youth Belouizdad, the holder of the league title, in addition to two cases among the reserve players.

Bichari indicated that there are 4 suspected cases in the Algerian club, Ittihad, confirming that the first tests by blood analysis were negative, pending the results of the "BCR" detection today.

The technical staff of the Belouizdad Club announced earlier today that the preparatory camp the team was running in the city of Mostaganem, western Algeria, after it was confirmed that defender Sofiane Bouchar was infected with the virus.
