The forecasts are a bit gloomy ahead of tonight's opening SM final in speedway.

They say that it will rain until the planned match start which is 19.00, but that start will very likely be postponed during the evening.

The track around Sannahed is currently covered with tarpaulins to prevent the rain from penetrating into the track material.

There is also hot stone flour on site to facilitate the course preparation.

- We have just had a meeting with the referee and the two team captains.

We are waiting for the rain so that we can cover the tarpaulins, says Peter Johansson.

"It is important that the match is run"

According to the plan, the final series will take place tonight Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday.

Reserve day is Thursday.

- For us, it is extremely important that we can drive as planned.

Our driver Max Fricke has commitments in Poland on Friday and Sunday, and would not be available on Thursday, says Peter Johansson.
