Amanda Lind does not think the message should be seen as a general relief, as the 30 rule still stands.

- We must be humble and say that we are in a pandemic.

But it means great opportunities for large parts of the sports movement and culture, both elite and broad, says Amanda Lind and continues:

- It's not just about how we fit in the stands, because then you can say 500 is a bit sparse.

But you have to get to the arena, and everything around the event must work and have no congestion.

It's all about us getting to follow developments, where the pandemic is going.

There we will continue to discuss with the Public Health Agency to be able to take more steps and raise the ceiling.

We may also have to review the legislation to get a more flexible legislation that is not just based on exceptions from the Public Order Act, she says.

Hard criticism

Amanda Lind has endured harsh criticism from several different quarters during the pandemic.

- It is good that people discuss sports and the conditions of culture.

Since I as a minister have to endure that criticism is part of the job.

Sport and culture have been hit hard by the pandemic, and it must of course be discussed how sport and culture can get through this.

But my full focus is to support culture and sports through the pandemic, says Amanda Lind.
