One of the clearest questions in terms of experience has been the unique sound that rallycross has and can be without in connection with the transition.

- Rallycross has long lived on a fantastic sound experience.

Considering how the start sounds and how the cars sound along the track and above all how fast they go, Mattias Ekström told SVT earlier.

- We already know today that there is a lot of opposition, says SVT's motor expert Jonas Kruse about the issue in Sportspegeln.

"Great cost for the teams"

But despite the fact that sound is a big issue, Jonas Kruse sees another issue as a bigger problem - the economic one.

- It is a big cost for the teams.

Today it costs around three to four million for the teams, if you switch to electric cars it costs around twice as much as ten million and the teams cannot do it without factory support.

So I see that a change is needed.

More car brands need to enter

Right now, two car brands have jumped on the electric train and according to Kruse, there are too few.

- More car manufacturers must enter the sport, at least three or four, says Kruse and clarifies:

- The most important thing is to agree in the teams and that is the most important task that the new promoter has to work with now.
