Doubts about the Juventus-Napoli match ... "Anarchy in Italy"

There is strong suspicion that the summit meeting between Juventus and Naples will be held in Turin, today, Sunday, within the third phase of the Italian Football Championship, due to injury to two players from the southern club, amid tensions between the two clubs due to different interpretations of the laws regarding the health protocol, so that prominent Italian newspapers described The order is "chaos".

The Napoli players were scheduled to travel to Turin on Saturday evening, but they remained in the city, and the club's board of directors did not make any decision on whether or not to face Juventus until now.

The Italian League had confirmed the preservation of the match’s date and, accordingly, according to the laws adopted this week by the sporting authorities, Napoli might lose the match by a score of 0-3 if he did not attend.

In its decisions, the Italian League adopted the rules of the European Union for the game, which says that any match should be played if there are 13 players who are healthily ready to play, including the goalkeeper.

If not, the withdrawing team loses the match by a score of 0-3.

The only exception in this regard is the presence of more than 10 cases in one team, in which case the team can request to postpone its match, but only once throughout the season.

On the other hand, Juventus announced that its players will be on the stadium on the date set for the match, and its new coach Andrea Pirlo commented on this by saying: "I do not believe that there are difficulties to hold the match. The League has set specific rules for the game."

But with regard to Naples, these laws also collide with the health instructions of the local authorities, based on the instructions of the Campania region, the president of the Napoli club, known for his fiery statements, decided not to travel to Turin on Saturday evening, knowing that the players, even those whose results were negative, stay at their homes.

This discrepancy in the interpretation of the laws will lead to major repercussions on the local season, especially after the Genoa and Turin match, which was scheduled for Saturday, was postponed due to the injury of 17 players in the first ranks.

On Saturday, Napoli announced that a second player in their ranks had been infected with Covid-19, the Macedonian carcass diamond, one day after it was revealed that Polish striker Piotr Zelensky was injured.
