Although the message was expected, it is now definitive and Bahta has a plan to move forward.

- It feels a bit boring and difficult. But I try not to think so much, I can not do much more. I try to focus forward and not think backwards in 2018. Now I think about this year and next year and the competitions I have left, says Bahta who is clearly affected by the message.

She is slightly disturbed by the fact that the message comes the day before the competition in Gothenburg, a pattern she seems to recognize. Bahta was convicted of three misses in stay reporting within a year, a problem that has grown avalanche over the past year with several notable cases, including the American star sprinter Christian Coleman and the world champion in the 400 meters Salwa Eid Naser who are both under investigation.

"I'm so tired of it"

- I'm so tired of it all the time. Every time before a race, something has happened the day before or the week before. It is very special that the message comes. I'm sorry, it's so weird. Just because you have not answered a week or a month ago and then they wait with the message until before competitions. It is difficult. I'm sorry about that. But I will not spend time on it but try to think ahead. I have to be strong, close my eyes and think ahead, says Bahta who finished fourth in today's 1500-meter race, her first in the distance in one year.

Bahta has competed sparingly over the past year. She was under investigation by anti-doping authorities during the European Championships in Berlin two years ago, but the Swedish Athletics Association let her compete.

Bahta's results from May 24, 2018 to August 31, 2019 have now been deleted.
