Fredrik Teern will not play for Alingsås when the Handball League starts.
The 31-year-old defender who joined the club in 2013 does not combine handball with privacy.

- I love playing handball, but as the situation looks right now, I can not combine it with work and family, says Teern to Alingsås website.

- It has been a tough year in many ways and I missed many training sessions and matches last season due to my work. It will not be fair to either me or the team if I can not be fully involved. Then, of course, it will feel strange when the league starts.

"Will miss the fans"

During his seven seasons in Alingsås HK, Teern has played five Swedish Championship finals, and the memories are many.

- The strongest is probably the Swedish Championship gold in 2014. But I have had incredibly good years in the club and loved playing in front of the home fans in Estrad Alingsås who in my eyes are the best in Sweden. I will of course miss that, says Teern.
