Nanjing Tongxi wrote in the announcement: "After friendly consultation with the board of directors of Nanjing Tongxi Club, Mr. Cui Wanjun will no longer serve as the head coach of Nanjing Tongxi Basketball Club due to personal physical reasons."
Cui Wanjun became the head coach of the Nanjing Tongxi team in April 2019.
