The Chinese authorities gave the green light for the start of the local football league this weekend as scheduled, after all participants in its competitions were subjected to tests for the detection of the new Corona virus, all of which were negative.
The Chinese Super League indicated that 1870 people, including players, coaches and members of the technical staff, had undergone "Covid-19" examinations after joining the two collective camps designated for the completion of the season. The association confirmed that all test results were "negative".
According to the official Xinhua news agency, the players will be tested on a weekly basis during the season.

At the start of the season, title match between defending champion Gwangju Evergrande, coached by Italian Fabio Cannavaro, with cup holders Shanghai Xinhua in Dalian, and another between Wuhan Zal and Qingdao Huanghai in Suzhou.
