The year when the corona pandemic set the season became Forsberg's last. On Instagram, Forsberg says goodbye to his active career.
"It is with many emotions that one stands here with the heart in one hand and an old suspensor in the other," he writes.
In 2013 he won SM gold with Skellefteå. In total there were 16 seasons in allsvenskan and in SHL.
