The Swedish Football Association has worked out a strategy that has been presented to the Public Health Authority in the hope of being able to start the season. At a meeting earlier today, the decision came that one could not come back with new directives around when sports can be resumed until the first week of June.

- I find it difficult to understand this slow handling of an authority that has issued a professional ban, Olsson tells SVT.

During the daily press conference, Anders Tegnell responded to the criticism.

- It is not a matter of the risk precisely to the professional, but the consequences that the professional would have, in the form of crowds, sports bars and other things. It is much like restaurants, some businesses today have to limit their business because it poses such great risks for the spread of infection.

This has contributed to the Swedish Cup not being able to start on June 1, as planned.

- Before the summer, we will give a definitive message about when and how sport can be resumed.
