Football in times of coronavirus requires changes that will be seen in the return of the pending matches of the First and Second Division, as well as in the playoffs with which the title will be resolved in Second B. Modifications to adapt to the situation and the The Ministry of Health's demands will be made by the Federation and LaLiga, with the consent of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), plus the recommendations made by the clubs themselves. The body chaired by Luis Rubiales has already made the necessary amendments to the Regulations, since it is he who has the powers, and this has been sent to the CSD for approval. LaLiga, for its part, is responsible for transferring the clubs to the logistical protocol that will be followed in all matches.

FIVE CHANGES, THREE STOPS

In the modification of the Regulations, the FIFA directive has been included, which increases the number of changes to five, since the teams will play in the summer, at a higher temperature than usual, and in many cases with less preparation time. The Federation, however, has established that these changes cannot be made in more than three stops, so the interruption time will not vary with respect to the employee with the previous rule. They do not need to be staggered.

SIXTH CHANGE IN EXTENSION

In First and Second there are no extensions, but this could occur in the 'playoffs' of Second B, which will be resolved in a single match, so the teams may have one more change. Given that the Cup finalists decided to wait until they could play it with the public, it is to be expected that it will be played without the exceptional measures in force. Otherwise, the sixth change would also affect the final between Athletic and Real Sociedad.

25 IN FIRST BENCHES

Changes in the Regulations also affect the number of players and coaches who can sit on the bench. FIFA has increased to 23 the number of players who can dress and the Federation has up to 25 the number of people who can sit on the bench in First Division matches. LaLiga will also impose distance measures, so many of the benches will have to be expanded with seats next to the existing ones.

200 PEOPLE IN THE STADIUM

The LaLiga protocol will differentiate between two types of matches for the purposes of those authorized to enter the stadium. This will have to do with the importance and needs of television operators. In some, those authorized to access will be below 200; in others, they will not reach 250. For each team, 23 players, eight coaches, a doctor and four or two managers may enter, depending on whether they are local or visiting.

NO GREETING, FEW HUGS

In the match start protocol, the classic greetings will not occur. Some clubs, beyond what is recommended by LaLiga, will ask their footballers to avoid hugging at goal celebrations.

TEST ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH

Just as the Bundesliga decided, LaLiga will perform quick tests on all players and coaches on the eve of matches. The rest of the people involved in the internal logistics of the meetings will also be subjected to various controls. The objective is to turn each party into a zero contagion island.
