The All Japan University Baseball Federation, which sponsors the event, held an extraordinary board meeting in Tokyo on the 12th, and unanimously decided to cancel the tournament.

As for the reason for the cancellation, at present, most universities have not been able to practice all at once, and even if the declaration of emergency is lifted at the end of this month, there will be insufficient preparation period to hold the tournament in August. It is a decision.

According to the All Japan University Baseball Federation, two of the 26 university federations nationwide, including Toto University Baseball, have decided to cancel the spring league match, and the other 24 federations have all postponed the event.
